Coffee Cream Brownies
Here in Crustabakes, we tend to get a little over-indulgent.
Take these brownies for instance.
They are pretty much delicious as they are. Chewy, fudgy, and moist.
But we just had to go the extra mile,
And spread some coffee flavoured buttercream. YUM!
Then, we like to go further and push the limits,
with this poured on chocolate ganache.
Chocolate brownies with coffee frostings and chocolate ganache. Can you really say no to that?

1 tsp instant coffee granules
2 tbs butter, softened
1 C confectioner’s sugar

These sound like the perfect brownies to me! I really love that layer of coffee frosting, and then topped with chocolate ganache it’s heaven in brownie form!
You just upped those brownies about a thousand notches. As if that were possible.
Can I say these are the perfect brownies? Wow..amazing. Every recipe you come out with, is better than the next!
They look heavenly and am sure they taste heavenly, too! Beautiful pictures!
Holy Smokes! Can I come over to your house??? I want to be you when I grow up.
nobody can resist! oh dear, coming here will make me fat, lol!!
Oh my god. My heart is beating a mile a minute. You know you can’t put a brownie in front of me and not have me want one immediately. So you know I am trying this decadent coffee cream brownie immediately
Too sinful to resist it! This is too good to be missed, hope you are willing to join in this month Aspiring Bakers theme. Thank you 🙂
oh yes, definitely. lemme work on getting the pics to u. Thanks for hosting this month!
How much cream cheese? These look divine like everything else you make! This is my new favorite website.
Hi claire, there is no cream cheese in here! lol
Oh gosh, these look great. I mean, these look astonishingly tasty. I think you chose the perfect toppings, with the perfect consistency.
I’m saving this recipe.
I need to know what kind of chocolate you are using in the brownie recipe. This sounds fantastic. I’m making this for our condo picnic.
Hi irene, i am just using regular baking dark chocolate. 🙂
Hi! I’ve made this recipe many times but I’m curious to know – what kind of chocolate did you use for the ganache? It looks too dark to be semi-sweet chocolate chips (which usually ends up looking more of a lighter brown) Did you use dark chocolate chips for the ganache as well? I like the look of the darker chocolate ganache on yours better!
yupp. i think i used dark chocolate chips on this one!
I just gained 2 pounds staring at these brownies! They look so yummy!
This looks like caffeine heaven !!!
wow.. those have to be the most delicious-sounding brownies of all time! can’t wait to make them! thanks for the recipe
Wow that already looks moist then you added that chocolate and coffee cream, that would be something i could not resist
These look incredible!
Nothing wrong with going a lil over the top, or a lot over the top, for that matter! Especially when it comes to brownies looking this moist and chewy *drools*
Yes, yes, yes. Oh yes!
YUM!! These look amazing!
These look sooooo incredible!! I have to make these soon! I love coffee flavored desserts, but I don’t care for coffee itself, go figure! Ha! 😀
i actually gasped with excitement when i saw how good these look
I definitely could not say no to that. Those look sooo good.
Good Lord!
These are so worth the weight gain that will no doubt follow! I’ll definitely have to share these as they’re so decadent that I can’t justify eating the entire pan by myself. I would definitely suggest using bittersweet chocolate in the ganache as the brownies and frosting are super sweet so I fear anything else would be overkill. Also, I had to double the coffee filling recipe as I couldn’t get my initial batch to cover the brownies, not even in a thin layer. Otherwise this recipe is perfection!
Oh my. Those look amazing. I may have to try them this weekend.
